Hot bite and happy crew! Matt and their crew joined me for a December waterfowl hunt in the early morning hours around Matagorda Bay. Partly cloudy skies gave us solid hunting conditions as we headed out for our full-day adventure with Captain Shannon's Charters.

The crew stayed focused as we moved between productive areas, and our drive hunting approach paid off when we connected with these big ol' birds.
